UV TYPE?

Postby SPARK on Sat Oct 17, 2009 3:21 pm

Hi all.
Just inquired about a new uv lamp and was told a reptiglo 10.0 is fine for a bd. I thought this would be to high.
Any feedback would be great.

Thanks
Spark

I used Repti-glo 10s with my beardie. They are sun-loving reptiles and do need high levels of UV.

Hi Tim.
Cheers for the info. Never used as high as that before, but then no fact sheets i looked at mentioned wether a 2.0, 5.0, 8.0 or 10.0 should be used. They only seem to say use uv lamps and no more detail than that.

Thanks again.
Kev.
