Pics on the site

Postby Chris on Wed Jan 31, 2007 11:53 am

Hi all

Can I ask that if you do post up a photo on the forum that you keep it to 600 x 450 pixels please. We are currently using over 10GB of bandwidth each month and all these large photos are contributing to the excess.

Thanks everyone

Imageshack can resize images for you, or create thumbnails.

Chris,

For those of us who can only just operate a keyboard - when you refer to "post a photo on the forum" you are not refering to those cases where we post a link to Photobucket, Imageshack or similar are you? :?
Forgot to add that photobucket also can resize specifically for bulletin board. See under edit/resize

Hi Rick

If its a link to a photo, i.e. photobucket then it will open in a new window. If its a photo posted on the site then the size restraints will need to be adhered to.

Thanks for clarifying Rick
